The MacBook Air is a comparable choice to the Lenovo ThinkPad and Microsoft Surface Laptop. It’s a popular and capable choice in the school’s BYOD program with good all-round performance, and coupled with Apple’s excellent build quality. This is the product choice for for users preferring the Apple platform. Note: this model MacBook can no longer run Windows. This may limit its use for CAD drawing. Students may need to make alternative arrangements such as using school computer labs for some tasks in some elective subjects.
