Congratulations to Leon Park (8T) who won three gold medals at the 2026 Judo Australia National Championships on the Gold Coast.

Interpreting Semester 1 Year 7 Reports

All Year 7 boys should have seen me to receive their reports by Friday 12 June 2026.

Reports use a points scale: HD (6), D (5), C (3), PM (2), P (1), U (0).

Boys are expected to reach 30 points, or 10 credits, to meet the school standard.

Reports also include the Proficiency in Employability and Work Capabilities (PEWCC) skills, such as Problem solving and critical thinking, Evaluating, Working with others, Communicating ideas, and Creating and innovating, are also reported.

Progress in these skills is tracked across subjects and over time. Further information is available on the PEWCC reporting page.

Learning behaviours are assessed on a four-point scale: rarely, sometimes, usually, consistently. These behaviours are within a student鈥檚 control. Attention to them will improve outcomes. Teachers also provide clear next steps to guide improvement.

Year 7 is a significant transition year. To support this, class ranks are not issued in the first two reports. High-performing students are recognised on the Academic Achievement List. Families of boys in the Academic Support Group (27 points or below) will be contacted.

Support may include targeted workshops, Diary Club, meetings with the Year Adviser, referral to the School Counsellor, or, in rare cases, external support. Interventions are tailored to individual need. Unless we hear otherwise, we will proceed using our professional judgement to support your son.

Parents are encouraged to discuss the report with their son before booking Parent鈥揟eacher interviews. Your son鈥檚 Year Adviser can provide guidance on next steps.
