Telephone Service Outage

At approximately 6:00am, Wednesday 1 November, Sydney Boys High School lost all telephone service.

Telstra have advised that a fibre optic cable has been severed disconnecting several hundred services. Work is underway to repair the cable, but no estimated time of service reinstatement will be provided.

As at 6:30am, Thursday 2 November, splicing the replacement cable had commenced. At approximately 10:30am service was restored.
